New Metro - has received their coax and new antenna and will be installing
it on their new hospital. Metro is moving into their new hospital in Sept.
St. Mary's coax extension is complete to the side wall - no more ladder
needed.
BWC - No new antenna installed yet to the library...at this time if
something goes down one person with a UHF ht will need to be in the incident
command center at the library and the I-D800 in the security office with lap
top. Plan A is to use Sam's repeater (U-1) Plan B cross band repeat from
the library to the 511. Vehicle will need to be on top of the ER ramp and
must use at least 10 watts or more to connect well with the HT in the
library.
BLC - Antenna run to the Guild Room is complete and the lead is tucked into
the left side of the wall mounted TV cabinet. An extension cord should be
taken along to get power to your lap top from a desirable operating
position. Also it would be good to take a barrel connector and coax
extension with PL2-59's on each end to set up out in the hallway should the
command room be too busy and loud (20 to 30 foot).
MCBC - (Mich Community Blood Clinic) Dave Johnson did another on site visit
today and finalized antenna location plans with their maintenance tech.
Vacations are getting in the way, but we may have an antenna to the
operating position in time for the Aug. 30 drill.
DRILL Aug 30 2 PM to 7 PM. ... I did the paperwork to get off from work
and plan to attend. I will do a round table e-mail to see who all is
planning to make the drill from HosCom RTL's
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO AND WHO YOU ARE ((( FRIENDS)))... Bro. Bob
