[Hcom] Metro Hook Up

When responding to New Metro for RACES 30' of coax is needed with PL259 on
each end .  I left a barrel connector on the end of the coax in the ER where
it comes out from under the counter below the MEDCOM radios.  It is a good
idea to take a power strip also.   The coax has to cross the floor in the
busy counter area so take wide masking tape to tape it down for trip safety.
I don't think duct tape is a good idea because of the gooooo it leaves on
the tile floor.  Next month during the test we will get some pictures of
where it all goes. 

 

There is no antenna running to the EOC in the basement on the ground level
East Side .....only the antenna to the ER.......so for now we will need to
do cross band repeat from a vehicle parked in the East lot lower level.  We
could not get repeat when the vehicle was parked up above by ER. 

 

See the attached picture that shows the location of the barrel connector
sticking out from under the counter.

some interesting traffic.... like Gerben asking for a Tylenol Response to
MCBC because of his splitting headache and Andy passing traffic about the
